When does Utah ski season actually start?
Typically mid-to-late November for the Cottonwoods (Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude), Snowbasin, and Deer Valley. Park City and Powder Mountain usually follow within a week or two. Southern Utah (Brian Head, Eagle Point) opens later, often early December. Your first alert lands the day the first Utah resort confirms a real opening date.
How often will you actually email me?
About four times a season — plus a real powder alert when a storm justifies it. Season kickoff, first big storm, pass-price drop, mid-season pulse. If nothing is happening, no email. This is the whole promise.
What if I want out?
